Rep. Maureen E. Madden February 8, 2022 | 12:13 PM

Maureen Madden stood on the House floor this week to defend Pennsylvania's public schools and call for fair, equitable funding after the majority party Appropriations chair brazenly blamed school boards and local officials for environmental hazards and crumbling school buildings. Madden reminded her colleagues that, as elected state representatives with a budget surplus, they have a responsibility to ensuring children, teachers and school staff are safe in their learning and working environments.
