Kosierowski honored as ‘State Official of the Year’

HARRISBURG, May 5 -- Life Sciences Pennsylvania, the statewide trade association for the commonwealth’s life sciences industry, honored state Rep. Bridget M. Kosierowski for her work as a member of the PA COVID-19 Task Force during its annual awards dinner last night.

“I’m honored to have my involvement acknowledged and proudly share the ‘State Official of the Year Award’ with my task force colleagues,” said Kosierowski. “Our efforts ensured a smooth, bipartisan flow of vaccine information, while removing obstacles to vaccinations on behalf of the entire General Assembly. This honor is a testament to our collective work during the pandemic. We understood the need for transparency, and a better streamlined informational distribution.”

She was appointed to the task force by the Wolf administration in February 2021. In that role, Kosierowski aided in ensuring essential workers were provided earlier access to vaccinations, as well as on-site clinics at the workplace.

Kosierowski calls the task force successful in its efforts and attributes those achievements to the hard work and nonpartisan approach of her colleagues, including: Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency Randy Padfield; for the Senate Democratic Caucus, state Sen. Art Haywood; for the Senate Republican Caucus, state Sen. Ryan Aument; and for the House Republican Caucus, state Rep. Tim O’Neal.
