Rep. Bridget M. Kosierowski March 26, 2021 | 4:23 PM
TAYLOR, March 26– State Rep. Bridget M. Kosierowski, D-Lackawanna, joined Marywood University Physicians Assistants and the Geisinger School of Medicine in administration of the COVID-19 vaccine to county residents in Scranton earlier today.
Kosierowski, who is a registered nurse, explained that today’s event was in conjunction with Delta Medix, who provided the vaccine and processing staff. Additionally, pharmacy students from Temple and Wilkes universities worked to enter recipient data.
“Events like the one today, ones where we can come together in our communities and work as a collective with one common goal of protecting our vulnerable, or those who have difficulty overcoming language barriers, are extremely important,” said Kosierowski. “Today, I put my nursing hat back on, happy to aid members of our 1A Indian population in receiving a vaccination here at the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple.”
