Commonwealth Financing Authority: Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund (GEDTF) (Funding Source: Pennsylvania Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund)

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) Grant Program (Funding Source: American Rescue Plan Act Funds)
Who May Apply: Community-based organizations, institutions of higher education, municipalities, district attorneys, and counties.
Use: To address community violence and prevention efforts.
Funds: Maximum award amounts are based on the applicant organization’s size and service area and range from $25,000 to $2.5 million to support project activities over a 29-month period.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Local Law Enforcement Support Grant Program (Funding Source: American Rescue Plan Act Funds)

Who May Apply: (1) A public agency of a political subdivision having general police powers and charged with making arrests in connection with the enforcement of the criminal or traffic laws. (2) A campus police or university police department. (3) A railroad or street railway police department. (4) An airport authority police department, including the Harrisburg International Airport Police. (5) A county park police force.
Use: To support grants to local law enforcement agencies and district attorneys in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Coordinated Community Violence Intervention (CVI) Strategies Pilot Grants Program (Funding Source: ARPA Funds)

Use: To support five to eight pilot projects with planning and implementation of short-term intervention, mid-term prevention, and long-term transformation strategies designed to increase local coordination to more effectively prevent, intervene, and respond to gun and group-related violence.
