HARRISBURG, Sept. 16 – State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Phila., issued the following statement on the Sept. 14 death of his former colleague, state Rep. Jeff Pyle:
“I want to send my condolences to the family of my former colleague, Representative Jeff Pyle. Jeff was a good man, who had a wonderful sense of humor and deep sense of service to his district. While we disagreed on a host of issues, I had an abiding respect for him. I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing.”
Kenyatta and Pyle served together on the House Liquor Control Committee.
Pyle represented the 60th Legislative District in Armstrong and Westmoreland counties. He served from 2005-2021.
