Kazeem to hold press conference on educational funding ruling

HARRISBURG, Feb. 13 – State Rep. Carol Kazeem, D-Delaware, will hold a press conference regarding the Commonwealth Court ruling on the state’s educational funding system at noon Tuesday on the front steps of the Delaware County Courthouse, 201 W. Front St.

Kazeem is a longtime fighter and advocate for fair education funding and for greater curriculum resources for youth across the state

“It is imperative that the public is aware of both the opportunity that comes with this decision, as well as the horrors that could play out if the system is not reformed appropriately,” Kazeem said.

She will be joined by fellow state Rep. Gina Curry, D-Delaware, state Sens. John Kane and Tim Kearney, and Legal Director at the Education Law Center, Maura McInerney Esq.
