Tiburcio sworn in to serve PA’s 22nd Legislative District after special election

HARRISBURG, March 23 Today, state Rep. Ana T. Tiburcio, D-Lehigh, took the oath of office to represent Pennsylvania’s 22nd Legislative District. The oath of office was administered by Judge Latasha C. Williams.

Tiburcio was elected to the office on Feb. 24 in a special election. She replaces Josh Siegel, who resigned at the end of 2025 to become Lehigh County executive.

“It is an honor to serve the people of Lehigh County and Allentown, where I’ve lived for nearly three decades,” said Tiburcio. “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my work promoting education, youth empowerment, employment opportunities, and community revitalization in the 22nd Legislative District. And I am thrilled to join the PA House Democratic Caucus as one of a record number of women representatives, especially during Women’s History Month.”

Prior to her swearing in, Tiburcio served on the Allentown School District Board of Directors from 2023-26. She also served as program coordinator for Fine Feather Foundation, a nonprofit empowering youth through creativity, education, and mentorship. She is the owner of A&M Tax & Services and is involved with Allentown Works, and the Allentown city beautification project Love Your Block. She was also part of Allentown Blueprint Communities.

Tiburcio’s constituent service office is located at 1801 Union Blvd., Suite H, 2nd Floor, in Allentown.

Constituents can reach her by calling 484-656-7744 or 717-705-6433.

The 22nd Legislative District includes Allentown and Salisbury Township.
