I have introduced a package of legislation intented to strengthen protections for homeowners. Often, the home is a family's most valuable asset and, far too often in recent years, we've seen faulty and defective building materials used when performing residential construction, which devastates the family and can cost tens of thousands to replace. It's time we put a stop to this practice and protect families.
