State Rep. Joe Hohenstein, D-Phila., announced on May 20 that he and one of his staff members recently tested positive for COVID-19.
"We are making sure that anyone we might have been connected with are notified of this positive test," Hohenstein said. "I am not experiencing any major symptoms, which I attribute to my being vaccinated and boosted. Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the greatest tool in our ongoing fight against this virus."
Hohenstein said he and his staff member believe they contracted COVID-19 while at unrelated campaign events. He said anyone who believes they were in contact with him can reach out to his office for more information.
