Congratulations to the Wyoming Area Police Department on its new headquarters’ ribbon cutting. Rep. Jim Haddock said the department is off to a fine start serving West Pittston and the other four towns they represent. Haddock spoke at the event and helped with funding the new station. (4/5/24)

Rep. Jim Haddock met with a group of veterans from various branches of service and wars served. They are still fighting for fellow veterans who were subjected to military sexual trauma while serving. HR 189 would designate Oct. 15-21 as Military Sexual Trauma Survivor Week. SB 924 would annually recognize an awareness day for this cause. Haddock takes great pride in working on veterans issues and getting veterans the support they need and deserve. (10/3/23)

The plan would enable working people to take a meaningful length of leave to care for themselves if a critical health crisis arises, for a family member with a serious illness, or for the arrival of a new child. Rep. Haddock recently presented a House of Representatives citation to Logan Bryan for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Logan is a member of Troop 316 in Avoca. His community service project included painting fencing, playground equipment and a building in Dupont Borough. He also refurbished picnic tables. (5/12/23)
