Haddock: $1.4M for treatment services, trauma care, victim assistance

HARRISBURG, Dec. 12 – State Rep. Jim Haddock is pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency awarded $1.4 million to support treatment services, trauma care, and victim assistance in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.

“These funds will help to provide critical services for people during times of crises, leading to stronger and healthier communities,” said Haddock, D-Luzerne/Lackawanna.

Haddock said the funding includes:

Lackawanna County

• $494,530 to Geisinger Clinic for Project PATH.

• $180,000 to Lackawanna County for justice system response to substance use disorder.

• $150,460 to Lackawanna County for Rights and Services Act/Victims of Juvenile Offenders services.

• $125,000 to the Women’s Resource Center for the WRC/LCDA STOP Program.

• $50,000 to the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA for compliance with NCA standards in 2026.

• $29,500 to Integrative Counseling Services for trauma care.

• $15,702 to the Women’s Resource Center for Victims of Juvenile Offenders services.

Luzerne County

• $261,900 for Victims of Juvenile Offenders/Rights and Services Act services.

• $125,000 for the STOP Program 2025-2027.
