Holiday Open House

We had a wonderful time meeting and greeting with constituents at our annual Holiday Open House. Many came through after the Hatboro Tree Lighting and enjoyed some hot apple cider and hot chocolate with cookies as we chatted about how our office can help you! Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and we wish you all a happy and warm holiday season.

AQUA Opens Hatboro Well Treatment Facility to Treat PFAS Chemicals

Last Thursday, I was invited to attend the opening of the new AQUA PFAS treatment facility at its Hatboro well station. This new system removes PFAS from drinking water sources from two wells serving nearly 13,000 people in the Hatboro area and meets the new PFAS national drinking water standards. The construction of the facility was completed using grant funds through PENNVEST at no direct cost to the customer. As we know, PFAS chemicals are a silent danger in everyday products and in our water. Taking action to eliminate them is essential to safeguarding our community’s health and through treatment facilities like this, we are addressing this issue head-on and ensuring our community becomes and stays a safer, healthier place to live.

Arc Alliance Holiday Open House

On Saturday, I attended the Arc Alliance Breakfast with Santa! There were so many families and kiddos there and music was provided by the Springfield High School Band. Arc Alliance is such a wonderful organization helping so many members of our district and communities.

The Arc Alliance supports individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. It provides caring, professional support and services and creates life-changing solutions for its clients.

Holiday Donation Drive with Prothonotary’s Office & Victims Service Center

The “Inspire and Empower” drive is accepting new arts and crafts supplies as well as educational and sensory toys to be distributed this holiday season to child survivors of sexual abuse and other violent crimes. The holidays can be a difficult time for trauma survivors, but the outpouring of the community’s generosity and support provides light and joy to children and their families.

We will be partnering with the Prothonotary’s Office and the Victims Service Center, to run this special Holiday Drive. Our office will serve as a collection site so please feel free to drop donations at your convenience during our open business hours of 9 am-4 pm Monday-Friday.
