Otten to host virtual community resource town hall

EXTON, Dec. 7 – State Rep. Danielle Friel Otten, D-Chester, will hold a virtual Community Resource Town Hall to share information on the state and local resources available to assist with food insecurity, housing, utilities and mental health.

The town hall will take place at 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 and will include a lineup of speakers from Chester County Food Bank, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Legal Aid of Southeastern PA and Communities that Care of Greater Downingtown.

The event will be livestreamed through Otten’s website, www.RepDanielle.com.

Community members may submit questions in advance through an online form or send questions in during the event by emailing repotten@pahouse.net or calling (484) 200-8259.

“Many Chester County residents have been hard hit by this pandemic and are in need of support and assistance, particularly as we head into the winter months,” Otten said. “My district office has always been a place where constituents can learn about the state and local resources available to them. Since we are not able to gather in person right now, we wanted to provide a safe, virtual space for our neighbors to ask questions, share concerns, and find information to help them through these challenging times.”
