Rep. Flynn to hold Policy Committee hearing on municipal tax burden Tuesday in Scranton
SCRANTON, Feb. 12 - State Rep. Marty Flynn, D-Lackawanna, announced that he will host a House Democratic Policy Committee hearing next week on the municipal tax burden.
The hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, Casey Ballroom, 100 Adams Ave. Members of the public and media are invited to attend.
Flynn requested the hearing since the tax burden on residents, including senior citizens, is at a critical level and affecting too many hardworking families in the area. He will be joined by fellow state legislators from across the Commonwealth.
