Rep Flynn: $25,000 in state revitalization funding coming to Scranton

SCRANTON, Dec. 30 – State Rep. Marty Flynn, D-Lackawanna, said the United Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania will receive a $25,000 grant to create a neighborhood revitalization plan for the Pinebrook section of Scranton.

“This funding is an investment in our area, which will continue to make Scranton a location where local businesses will thrive and help our local economy,” Flynn said.

The program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's Keystone Communities program.

The Keystone Communities program supports local initiatives designed to grow and stabilize neighborhoods and communities, foster effective public-private partnerships, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
