Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler November 1, 2024
HARRISBURG, Nov. 1 – Today, state Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler, D-Phila., announced that $6.1 million in state funding has been awarded to her district for three separate projects.
Funding comes from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program -- a Pennsylvania grant program for the design, acquisition, and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. RACP projects have a regional impact and generate substantial increases in employment, tax revenues, or other measures of economic activity.
The projects receiving funding include:
“These projects will create good-paying local jobs for South Philadelphia residents and also increase tax revenue to support community needs,” Fiedler said. “I’m proud to see such a large amount of state funding come back to our district, and I am committed to securing more RACP grants in future budgets.”
