Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency: Improving Justice System Responses to Opioid, Stimulant & Related Substance Use Disorders  (Funding Source: State Opioid Response (SOR) III Funding)

Who May Apply: Counties and nonprofit organizations.

Use: To support efforts to expand access to evidence-based supports and enhance coordination within counties for people with OUD, stimulant use disorder, and related substance use issues interacting with the justice system.

Funds: Up to $500,000.

Who May Apply: Local governments, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education.

Use: To support the development of a training for attorneys who conduct direct and cross-examination of children who are alleged to have been victims of abuse.

Funds: PCCD expects to fund one grant with a budget not to exceed $189,117 over an 18-month project period.

Use: To develop Pennsylvania specific training for law enforcement professionals on investigating allegations of child abuse.

Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development: COVID-19 ARPA Whole-Home Repairs Program  (Funding Source: American Rescue Plan Act Funding)

Who May Apply: Eligible applicants are county governments or a nonprofit entity, who will then subsequently re-grant these funds to individuals in a future application period. No more than one applicant per county shall be awarded funds by DCED.

Use: To provide funding for county-wide agencies to address habitability and safety concerns, provide measures to improve energy or water efficiency and make units accessible for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, this program provides funding to the counties for construction-related workforce development.

Funds: Varies by award. $120 million is available for the program.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection: Food Recovery Infrastructure Grant Program  (Funding Source: Recycling Fund)

Who May Apply: Nonprofit organizations (i.e. food banks).

Use: To assist with the costs of equipment necessary to prepare, transport and store foodstuffs acquired from retailers/wholesalers, grocery stores, agriculture organizations, farms and cooperatives.

Funds: Up to $50,000.
