STATE PROGRAMS NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS:
Pennsylvania Department of Health/Pennsylvania Downtown Center: PA WalkWorks (Funding Source: PA Department of Health Grant)
Who May Apply: Municipalities, counties, Metropolitan and Rural Planning Organizations.
Use: Development of plans and policies to improve walking, bicycling, wheeling, and transit connections to everyday destinations and increase safe and accessible opportunities for residents to be physically active.
Funds: Awards will range between $10,000 to $20,000 for the development of active transportation plans and between $3,000 and $5,000 to assist with the development of Complete Streets and/or Vision Zero policies. No match required, but will improve application success.
Application Deadline: Submit Letter of Intent by April 23 (not mandatory); Application deadline is May 14

Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol: Recovery Community Support Services (Funding Source: Federal Funding)
Who May Apply: Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs licensed treatment providers are eligible to apply. Single County Authorities (county drug and alcohol offices) are not eligible to apply.
Use: To expand or enhance recovery support services to individuals with a substance use disorder, such as recovery coaching, education and employment supports, job training/skills, and social activities.
Funds: Three to five grants up to $700,000 each will be awarded.

FEDERAL AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN PROGRAMS NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS:
National Endowment for the Humanities: American Rescue Plan - Humanities Organizations
Who May Apply: 501(c)(3) nonprofits, public and 501(c)(3) accredited institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments.
Use: To provide emergency relief to institutions and organizations working in the humanities that have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Eligible costs include, but are not limited to: salaries and fringe benefits, consultant and contractor fees, supplies, equipment (not to exceed 20 percent of the total funds requested), general operating support.
Funds: Approximately 150 grants of up to $500,000 will be awarded. Amount of grant depends on annual operating budget. See guidelines below for details.

- An individual, partnership, association, business, or municipal government. - Projects that grow agricultural infrastructure in urban food deserts to improve access to fresh, local food and provide opportunities for hands-on learning, community-building, and for people to become social entrepreneurs.
L&I Dislocated Worker Near Completer Demonstration Project: April 19 (Funding Source: Federal Funding)
- Pennsylvania Local Workforce Development Boards. – To support job seekers who have been displaced from employment due to the COVID-19 pandemic and who were within one semester (16-weeks) or less of completing training.
PEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program: April 20 (Funding Source: Federal Funding)
- 501(c)3 nonprofits, including religious institutions. Must be at a high risk of a terrorist attack. - Target hardening and physical security enhancements.
PCCD 2021-22 Intermediate Punishment Treatment Program: April 27 (Funding Source: General Fund)
- Pennsylvania counties. - To support restrictive conditions that are imposed as part of a county probation sentence, needed drug and alcohol-related services, and mental health treatment and supportive services for eligible individuals.
