Delloso to hold Expungement and Pardon Clinic

HARRISBURG, Jan. 26 – State Rep. Dave Delloso will hold an Expungement and Pardon Clinic on Feb. 26 to help community members learn if record expungement might be an option for them.

The event, being held in partnership with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Folcroft Borough Hall, 1555 N. Elmwood Ave., Folcroft.

Advance registration is required. Anyone interested must RSVP by Feb. 24 by calling Delloso’s office at 610-534-1002 or emailing arichard@pahouse.net.

“I’m happy to be able to connect community members with the legal expertise they need to improve their lives,” said Delloso, D-Delaware.

Some criteria for candidates include:

  • Only Delaware County arrests are eligible.
  • Only non-conviction charges, including ARD, or summary convictions with no arrests in the past five years can be expunged. (Non-summary convictions cannot be expunged.)
  • Some misdemeanor convictions may be sealed if 10 years have passed.
  • Must have no current criminal charges.
  • Must not be serving probation time.
