Delloso to host virtual town hall Thursday to assist local companies

Information will be provided on applying for Small Business Assistance grants

RIDLEY PARK, June 30 – State Rep. David Delloso, D-Delaware, will host a virtual town hall on Zoom at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2 for the purpose of assisting local business owners who are applying for grants through the COVID-19 Relief PA Statewide Small Business Assistance program.

“Small businesses across the state can apply for grants to offset lost revenue because of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shutdown order to save lives,” Delloso said. “These grants range in value from $5,000 to $50,000 and the program is funded through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.”

Grants are managed through local Community Development Financial Institutions, and Rep. Delloso will be joined by Jim Burnett of West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution to discuss requirements, eligibility and how businesses can apply for this much-needed assistance.

Business owners are asked to RSVP for the town hall by contacting Delloso’s office at 610-534-1002 or RepDelloso@pahouse.net.

Business owners can download the Zoom app in preparation for the meeting. The link to the meeting can be found below:
