RSVP: Quarterly book club meeting

Residents of the 194^th looking to participate in a thoughtful exchange with their neighbors can join state Rep. Pam DeLissio at her newly organized book club. There will be four book club meetings throughout the year.

The first meeting of the book club will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 10, and will meet in her district office located at 6511 Ridge Ave.

“If you would like to join us, please contact my office at 215-482-8726, or email me at RepDeLissio@pahouse.net with your name and address,” said DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila. “I am excited to share thoughts and ideas that come from the exploration of literature. It’s a great way to hear even more voices in a new and inviting format.”

The first book being discussed is “Hillbilly Elegy” by J.D. Vance.

“With already a great response, there is still room to join for our March book club meeting,” she said. “I am excited about how enthusiastic the response has been to this idea.”

There will be four book club meetings throughout the year. Participants will be limited to 20 per gathering, and constituents will need to sign up for a particular book club session. Days and dates will vary.
