DeLissio going digital to discuss parole, probation and clemency at 93rd Town Hall
PHILADELPHIA, March 26 – State Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., will host her 93rd Town Hall Meeting via Facebook Live at 7 p.m. Monday, March 30.
The topic will be the parole, probation and clemency system in Pennsylvania, and Brandon Flood, Secretary of the Board of Pardons, will join DeLissio as a special guest during this digital town hall.
“The COVID-19 coronavirus has forced dramatic changes for all of us, and in keeping with the spirit of social distancing and staying home, I decided to bring our next town hall to you via Facebook Live,” DeLissio said. “There are many critical topics to discuss, and Secretary Flood and I will discuss how the system works regarding parole, probation and clemency in Pennsylvania. We also will discuss what changes need to take place to ensure justice.
“Though it’s not our usual format for town halls, I still welcome residents from all parts of the 194th Legislative District to join us and participate in the discussion.”
Those interested should visit www.facebook.com/RepDeLissio at 7 p.m. Monday. Comments or questions can be posted live in the comment stream during the town hall, or they can be emailed in advance to RepDeLissio@pahouse.net.
