ROYERSFORD, Jan. 28 – State Rep. Joe Ciresi will partner with a legal advocate to host a seminar detailing how to detect scams. The event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 at the Limerick Township Building, 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick.
“Older Pennsylvanians are increasingly the target of scams and fraud,” said Ciresi, D-Montgomery. “The good news is there are resources available to help seniors and their caretakers. I have partnered with an expert in the community to explain how to detect scams and the guidelines to follow if you believe you have been a victim of fraud.”
An elder victim legal advocate in Montgomery County, SeniorLAW Center’s Mac Donald P. Taylor Jr. will serve as a guest speaker.
Like all Ciresi’s events, the seminar is free and open to the public. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
For more information, residents can call Ciresi’s district office in Royersford at 484-200-8265.
