Ciresi: Show your support for our frontline healthcare workers and our restaurant industry this holiday season with gift cards

ROYERSFORD, Dec. 14 — In an effort to support struggling restaurants, bars, and other food service establishments, Rep. Joe Ciresi, D-Montgomery, is encouraging people to purchase gift cards from these small businesses and donate them to nurses, doctors and other personnel in the medical community as they battle COVID-19.

“A lot of these frontline workers don’t have time to eat,” Ciresi said. “These gift cards will help support those nurses, doctors, hospital workers, and others in the medical community, while providing needed revenue to the mom and pop restaurants and bars that are struggling under the most recent closure orders.”

If able to participate, residents are encouraged to give gift cards to healthcare workers they personally know. Alternatively, Ciresi’s office would be able to connect residents with frontline workers. Call 484-200-8265 or email RepCiresi@pahouse.net for more information.
