Rep. O'Brien takes part in a House Democratic Policy Committee hearing in Harrisburg to hear from doctors, dieticians and other medical professionals about the use of nutrition therapy in preventing and treating medical conditions.

The meeting focused on exploring the ways a healthy diet and nutrition can impact medical conditions, including prevention and treatment. Currently, Pennsylvania is considered the 19th most obese state, with an estimated $4 billion in Pennsylvania's medical expenditures attributed to obesity.
