Bradford to host Job Fair Sept. 22
EAST NORRITON, Sept. 16 – State Rep. Matt Bradford, D-Montgomery, will host a Job Fair from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Teamsters' Union Hall, 2910 Hannah Ave. in East Norriton, next to the Shop Rite supermarket.
"This event is aimed at assisting local residents who are unemployed or seeking employment during these difficult economic times," Bradford said.
Bradford said participants at the fair will include numerous large and small employers, state agencies, nonprofit organizations and career services organizations.
The fair will also include a resume-building workshop and career development services offered by PA CareerLink.
Help with unemployment compensation issues will be offered by representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
