HARRISBURG, Jan. 1 – State Rep. Jeanne McNeill, D-Lehigh, took the oath of office today to begin her first full term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she will continue to represent the 133 rd Legislative District. “I am excited to get back to Harrisburg and continue representing the great communities that make up the 133 rd legislative district,” said McNeill. “My team and I are dedicated to helping constituents access state programs and advocating for legislation that benefits families living both in Lehigh County and across the state.” McNeill said she plans to continue her legislative focus on issues such as fighting for policies that benefit working class families, addressing the opioid crisis, protecting the rights of those with physical and mental challenges, addressing high property taxes, keeping seniors in their homes and other initiatives that better the lives of the residents of the 133 rd District, as well as those across the commonwealth. “I’m proud to work with members of both parties to continue moving Pennsylvania forward,” said McNeill. “When we come together and address issues that impact us all, we create a fairer, more productive Pennsylvania for our communities and for future generations.” McNeill was first elected to serve the 133 rd District in December of 2017, succeeding her late husband, state Rep.
