Over 300 seniors attended Rep. Leanne Krueger's Senior Expo in Brookhaven. There were 40 vendors in attendance who shared a wide range of resources, including flu shots, heath care, insurance, nutrition, fire safety, financial planning, fraud protection and government services.

May 12, 2023 - Contraceptives

The House Democratic Policy Committee convened a hearing in Delaware County, hosted by Rep. Leanne Krueger, to discuss the need to expand access to contraceptives for Pennsylvanians following recent court rulings that put availability of this vital medication at risk.

April 2021 Shredding and Prescription Drug Collection

I partnered with state Sen. John Kane to host a Shredding and Prescription Drug Collection event on April 17. We saw more than 500 cars, and the Delaware County District Attorney's Office collected 204 pounds of unneeded medications for proper disposal.

I hosted a free shredding and prescription drug collection event Oct. 17 at the Aston Community Center. More than 400 people joined us, making it our biggest shredding event ever, and we collected 150 pounds of medication for proper disposal.

My annual Senior Expo was held Sept. 26. We were able to help so many seniors in our community get their flu shots, their SEPTA Key Senior IDs and resources on many wonderful programs and services available for them.

I was proud to be joined by fellow legislators and several advocacy groups, including the Environmental Defense Fund, The Sierra Club and PennFuture to discuss dangerous legislation in the General Assembly that threatens our environmental safety. We must work to prevent environmentally dangerous bills from becoming law.

It was an honor to join Governor Tom Wolf and fellow legislators and community members for a hearing on the opioid crisis sweeping across Pennsylvania. We must work to combat this epidemic, and it needs to start with conversations in our communities about what we can all do.
