Costa re-elected as Allegheny County Delegation chairman

HARRISBURG, Nov. 15 – State Rep. Dom Costa, D-Allegheny, was re-elected today as the Allegheny County Delegation chairman for the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus.

Costa will serve in the post for the 2017-18 legislative session, to which he was elected state representative for the 21st Legislative District on Nov. 8.

"It’s a pleasure and honor to lead an outstanding group of men and women who serve the region with great honor, commitment and purpose," he said. "We plan to continue to work hard to reflect our constituents’ needs and interests in the districts and in Harrisburg. We’re anxious to get to work on the people’s priorities for the 2017-18 session. We are staring down another tough budget season, work on reform measures and a changing political landscape for getting some stuff done.

“On the behalf of the delegation members, I’d like to remind everyone that we have great constituent service offices that can help you with an array of state matters. Look up your local representative and come meet us. We’d love to hear from you."
